We booked Maison Fredon at the last minute and the staff were very obliging about cleaning the rooms in a hurry and they were beautifully clean.
The rooms were very stylish.
The area was interesting – about 15 minutes from the centre – with fab restaurants and bars.
However the rooms were not cleaned during the 6 days we were there and our towels were only changed once at our request.Juin 2022

Really characterful apartment
We had a lovely stay in the Suite Grise – a really characterful and unqiue property, in a great location in St Michel. The receptionist, Karine, was very friendly and very attentive. Really bustly area, with a low-key studenty vibe, and with loads of cafes and restaurants nearby. A 10-15 min walk to the main centre of Bordeaux, or 2 minute tram along the waterfront. Would definitely stay again.Mai 2022

Style over substance
The title means the room and building were beautiful however check-in was stressful and the amenities were very basic. No bottle opener for example, a real basic I would have thought. 3 coffee capsules for 3 days just felt mean. I knew it wasn’t a typical hotel but no reception means it’s a very impersonal experience and I would suggest you think how you could make it more personal given your operating model.Octobre 2021

The room was clean, comfortable and quirky.
The fully automated reception was OK, but we were not clear about which room was ours. There was a bit of trial and error.
I didn’t like the prepayment and deposit system. It was grabbing and impersonal.
The hotel position is fine.
A second stay would no doubt feel easier, and we’d be happy to return.Septembre 2021
