The main town of Arcachon is 6 km from the apartment. The beautiful buildings and stunning stretches of sandy beaches continue to charm visitors. You can explore the historic Parc Mauresque, stroll through the Ville d’Hiver, and climb up to the Belvédère to contemplate the view. The cycle path passing right in front of the residence allows you to reach it by bike, passing through Moulleau and Pereire to explore quieter beaches.
The nearby Dune du Pilat is worth climbing for a magnificent sunset view.
Ferries depart from Arcachon and Moulleau to reach Cap Ferret on the other side of the basin. This elegant little seaside resort offers many wonderful places to enjoy oysters and is also the starting point for the little train that goes to the Atlantic beach on the other side of the peninsula.
