Comfortable and clear studio in the heart of Bordeaux

The Arles studio is a quiet 25 m² cocoon on the 3rd floor of an 18th century bourgeois building in the heart of Bordeaux’s Triangle d’Or, just a stone’s throw from the Place des Quinconces.

Privileged location
The building, with its classic late 18th-century architecture, is located on a courtyard shaded by lime trees, halfway between Place Tourny and the famous Place des Quinconces, whose 12-hectare tree-lined esplanade makes it the largest square in Europe. This historic heart of the city, which hosts numerous cultural and popular events, is also a hub for public transport serving the entire Bordeaux metropolis.

A play of materials and colors
In the living room, the sober decor, with its mix of leather and solid wood, is inspired by the works of Dutch-born painter Vincent Van Gogh, whose palette was illuminated in Arles, under the sun of southern France.

Environmental awareness
For furniture, fixtures and fittings, the focus was on craftsmanship, French manufacturing and upcycled materials.
A leather sofa bed with a comfortable queen-size bed, practical storage and a small desk make up the living area. The bathroom has a large shower cubicle and hairdryer. The toilet is separate. The kitchenette is equipped with induction hob, table-top fridge, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, dishes and cooking utensils. A wireless vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board complete the equipment of this very functional studio.
In this old but well-insulated apartment, interior shutters, blackout blinds and fans have been installed to keep the apartment cool in summer and warm in winter.
With a desk and dedicated internet and wifi connection, the Arles studio is also perfectly suited to business stays. Contact us to find out more about our corporate offers.

A chic, attractive and harmonious district with elegant buildings, luxury boutiques, theaters and some of Bordeaux’s finest restaurants. On one side, the district is bounded by the Cours de l’Intendance, the Cours Georges-Clémenceau and the Cours Xavier-Arnozan, the famous golden triangle with views over the Place de la Comédie, the Place Tourny, the Place des Quinconces and the Grand Théâtre. The Place des Grands Hommes, a neoclassical square, reflects the new vision of urban planning after the French Revolution. There are many English-style boutiques. All the places to meet for Bordeaux high society. A tradition you can still see at Brasserie Le Noailles. On the other side is the town hall (the impressive Palais Rohan), Saint-André cathedral and Tour Pey-Berland, a bell tower topped by a gilded bronze statue of the Lady of Aquitaine.

From Mérignac airport:
Take tram A to the Palais de Justice stop, then bus 5 or 15 to the Tourny stop and walk 3 min.

From Gare Saint Jean:
Take tram C or D from Gare Saint Jean to Quinconces and walk 4 min.
