Terms of Sales

YOUR RESERVATION

Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of payment. This payment should be made directly by credit card on our website via our secure payment system.

On receipt of payment we will send you an email detailing your booking including your rental agreement, the property address, our contact details, the balance and any arrival and departure instructions.

PAYMENT

Payment should be made by credit card via our own website or that of one of our partners.

In exceptional circumstances, payment may also be made by bank transfer if the following conditions are met:

The corresponding net amount is received in our bank account 7 days before arrival
We receive written confirmation that the transfer has been made
All bank charges will be invoiced to the client

DEPOSIT

Guests will be required to pay a deposit of between 300 and 500 euros for a flat or between 1500 and 4000 euros for a house or villa, which will be requested on arrival for any damage caused to the accommodation and its equipment.

Please note that by accepting our Terms and Conditions, you agree that any damage caused by you or accompanying persons will be deducted from your deposit. In the event of further damage, the client will also be responsible.

This deposit will be managed during entry to the premises via a bank draft which will be automatically cancelled between 4 and 7 days after departure and after inspection of the property.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All requests for cancellation or modification must be made by e-mail. Cancellations or modifications by telephone are not accepted.

In case of cancellation 30% of the payment will not be refunded

In case of cancellation 7 days prior to arrival, an additional charge of 50% of the total amount will be applied

Any change of dates or flats will be considered as a new booking and will be subject to standard cancellation procedures.

We strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.

If, after receiving the confirmation email, Bordeaux Locations is unable to offer the client the accommodation that has been booked, or a property with similar or better characteristics, then the client will be refunded as follows:

Refund of the full payment before arrival
Refund of the amount corresponding to the unused days of your reservation

YOUR CONTACTS DURING YOUR STAY

In your confirmation email you will find the name and telephone number of your Host, the person who will welcome you, show you the property and give you the keys to the property.

Please inform your Host of your arrival time as accurately as possible so that we can plan your entry.

If there are any changes or delays, please make sure you inform them of the changes.

YOUR ARRIVAL

It is extremely important that we have your exact arrival time. Without this information, your entry into the premises may be delayed.

On arrival at the airport (or 1 hour before arriving at your destination city), you must inform your Host so that he/she can begin to walk to your reserved property to welcome you and share any instructions.

Please note that entry must be arranged between 3pm and 9pm. If you wish to enter the premises earlier, we will try to accommodate this request as far as possible.

Any arrival after 9pm will be charged an additional 10 euros per hour by the Host.

YOUR DEPARTURE

It is expected that you will leave the property between 8.00am and 10.00am. Your departure time will have been programmed when you entered the property. On the day of your departure, your Host will come to inspect the property and collect the keys.

Please note that a charge of €40 will be made for leaving the property after 10:00 without prior permission.

If you need to leave the property after 10am, please make sure you ask us in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your request if we do not have a same day arrival. If the property is available, you may stay in the property until 5pm, but you will be charged a supplement of 50% of the flat rental price per night. After 5pm we will ask you to pay the full rental price per night of the property.

THE CLEANING

The property will have been cleaned before your arrival and the beds will have been made.

Before leaving, the client is obliged to leave the property in good condition, with the dishes washed, the rubbish emptied and the property tidied. If this is not the case, an additional cleaning fee of 50 euros will be charged.

NUMBER AND IDENTITY OF TENANTS

The Tenant must inform Bordeaux Locations of the number of persons concerned by the reservation.

Only the persons indicated in the same reservation will be allowed to enter the property, unless approved by Bordeaux Locations.

The number of persons associated with this booking must not exceed the number stated in the booking, except in the case of babies under two years of age.

Pets are not allowed unless special permission is granted.

If the client fails to comply with any of these conditions, Bordeaux Locations reserves the right to ask the client to leave the property without the tenant being able to claim any form of compensation.

RULES OF CONDUCT ON THE PROPERTY

Clients are obliged to respect the neighbourhood and the property. Music and parties are strictly forbidden. During your stay, we ask the tenants to limit the noise, especially between 21.00 and 9.00.

In the event of a complaint from the neighbours, Bordeaux Locations reserves the right to ask the tenant to leave the premises immediately at any time of the day or night.

With the signature of the lease contract, the tenant accepts all the conditions, in particular to behave in a responsible and correct manner. In the event of disrespectful and improper behaviour, Bordeaux Locations reserves the right to ask the tenant to leave the property. In this exceptional case, the client will forfeit all payments made, including the property rental and deposit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Neither Bordeaux Locations nor the owner will be held responsible for any direct or indirect damage caused to the property as a result of the tenant’s use of the property. This includes damage, insurance, loss due to fire, theft, and misconduct.

In the event that the client does not comply with the above Terms and Conditions, Bordeaux Locations reserves the right to ask the client to leave the property, and the client in question will not be entitled to claim any form of compensation.
